Prabhat Somdet Phra Chao Yu Hua, also known as King Vajiralongkorn, is the current monarch of Thailand, having ascended to the throne in 2016. Born on July 28, 1952, he is the son of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Queen Sirikit. His reign has been marked by a focus on national development, royal philanthropy, and cultural preservation. The King has a keen interest in environmental issues and has initiated several projects aimed at improving the quality of life for Thai citizens, including the development of public parks and green spaces. His commitment to public welfare is evident in the establishment of the “Suan Prem Pracha Narak,” a public park named in his honor, aimed at enhancing community well-being.
