Pradeep Nepal
Pradeep Nepal was a prominent leftist politician in Nepal who served as the Minister of Information and Communications and later as the Minister of Education and Sports in interim governments led by Manmohan Adhikari and Girija Prasad Koirala, respectively. He was known for his literary contributions under the pen name Sanjay Thapa, having authored over a dozen novels, including notable works that reflect on Nepali society and politics. Recently, he was in the news due to his passing after a prolonged illness, which included Parkinson's disease and pneumonia.
