Prakash Kumar Khandelwal is the President of the Nepal Medicine Entrepreneurs Association. He was in the news recently for announcing the suspension of a protest movement after a commitment from Health and Population Minister Pradeep Paudel to discuss and seek solutions regarding the demands of the association. Khandelwal emphasized the potential negative impact on consumers and the supply of medicines if the recommendations of the Drug Pricing Policy Advisory Committee, led by Dr. Poshraj Pandey, are implemented without proper consultation.
