Precious Joy Teeweh

Precious Joy Teeweh is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of the New Joy Teacher Training Institute (NJTTI) in Liberia. A passionate advocate for educational equity, she was the inaugural recipient of Liberia’s Presidential National Best Teacher Award in 2022. Teeweh's journey in education began with her enrollment in the EPACAP Early Childhood Teacher Program, which transformed her life and motivated her to empower women through education. Her latest initiative, the Empowering Women through Education Project (EWTEP), aims to train at least 100 women in early childhood education, emphasizing that education should be a right for all.
