Principesa Maria a României, also known as Maria of Yugoslavia, was born in 1900 and became Queen of Yugoslavia through her marriage to King Alexander I. She played a significant role in the royal families of Europe, especially during the tumultuous political landscape of the early 20th century. After her husband's assassination, she remained a prominent figure in royal circles, navigating the challenges of a changing Europe until her death in 1961.
