Prisa Shah was a student at the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) in Odisha, India, who was found deceased in her hostel under mysterious circumstances. Her tragic death, following a similar incident involving another Nepali student, has raised significant concerns about the safety and well-being of Nepali students studying abroad. In response to the outcry over her passing, Nepal's parliamentary speaker directed the government to investigate the matter thoroughly and ensure justice for her family.
