Prof Hazel Screen

Prof Hazel Screen is a co-director at the Centre for Predictive in vitro Models at Queen Mary University of London, where she is at the forefront of developing innovative alternatives to animal testing, such as organ-on-a-chip technology. Her research aims to create systems that mimic the interactions of human organs, allowing for more accurate drug testing and potentially reducing the reliance on animal models in scientific research.
