Puiu Manu

Puiu Manu, born on September 14, 1928, in Bucharest, is the world's oldest active comic book artist, with a prolific career spanning over seven decades. He began his artistic journey during his student years and has since created numerous beloved comic strips, leaving a significant mark on Romanian children's literature. Notably, he is recognized for his recent work on a comic album about the life of King Mihai I of Romania, inspired by a memorable encounter with the monarch in his youth.
