Qatar Football Association

The Qatar Football Association (QFA) is the governing body for football in Qatar, responsible for the organization and promotion of football activities in the country. Established in 1960, the QFA oversees the national team and various football competitions, including the Qatar Stars League. Recently, the association made headlines by suspending all football events due to regional instability following military actions involving the United States and Israel against Iran, which raised security concerns in the area and prompted the postponement of key matches, including the anticipated Finalíssima between Spain and Argentina.
