Quan Yuhui

Quan Yuhui was an esteemed expert in image processing and an associate professor at the South China University of Technology (SCUT). Born in 1985, he completed both his undergraduate and doctoral studies at SCUT, contributing significantly to the fields of computational photography and unsupervised learning. Before his untimely death at the age of 39, Quan had led numerous national and provincial research projects and published over 80 articles in top-tier scientific journals. He was recognized as a rising talent in his field and was included in Stanford University's list of the top 2% of scientists in the world in 2024.
