Queen Alia

Queen Alia of Jordan, born in 1948, was the third wife of King Hussein of Jordan and the mother of Princess Haya. She played a significant role in Jordanian society, advocating for women's rights and education. Queen Alia was deeply involved in social and charitable activities, establishing several organizations aimed at improving the living conditions of women and children in Jordan. Tragically, her life was cut short when she died in a helicopter crash in 1977, leaving a lasting legacy in the kingdom.
