Queen Mum

Queen Mum, born Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon on August 4, 1900, was the consort of King George VI of the United Kingdom and the mother of Queen Elizabeth II. Known for her warmth, charm, and dedication to public service, she became a beloved figure in British society, especially during World War II when her presence boosted morale. After her husband's death in 1952, she continued to be involved in royal duties and charitable work, earning admiration from the public until her passing in 2002 at the age of 101.
