Quinto Sertorio

Quinto Sertorio was a Roman general and politician who lived from 122 to 72 BC, known for his significant role in the Sertorian War, a civil war in the Roman Republic that took place in Hispania. Sertorio is often romanticized as a symbol of resistance against oppression, particularly in 19th-century Spain, where he was portrayed as a heroic figure fighting for freedom.
