Rab, also known as Colonel Rab, was a key military leader during the Bangladesh Liberation War, contributing to the formation of the Mukti Bahini alongside other military officers. He was instrumental in strategizing and executing plans that would ultimately lead to the independence of Bangladesh from Pakistani rule.
