Radhamés Mejía

Radhamés Mejía is the director of the Centro de Investigación en Educación y Desarrollo Humano (CIED-Humano) at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) in the Dominican Republic. He recently gained attention for his critical analysis of the 2025 National Tests, highlighting significant disparities in the educational system, particularly affecting public school students and those in vulnerable regions. Mejía pointed out that, despite over 75% of students being promoted, many do not meet the minimum competency standards, emphasizing the need for educational reforms and a reevaluation of the grading and promotion system.
