Radim Goretsky

Radim Goretsky, born in 1928 in Minsk, is a distinguished Belarusian geologist and academic known for his significant contributions to the field of geotectonics. After spending years in Moscow, he returned to Belarus in 1972, where he became a prominent figure in the Academy of Sciences, eventually leading the Institute of Geochemistry and Geophysics. Throughout his career, he authored over 600 scientific papers and remained an active public figure, advocating for Belarusian independence and cultural identity.
