Radu Anton Câmpeanu
Radu Anton Câmpeanu, a notable Romanian politician and founder of the National Liberal Party, was actively involved in anti-communist demonstrations in February 1945, which led to his political imprisonment from 1947 to 1956. He returned to Romania after 1990 to help re-establish the PNL and served as a senator until his death on October 19, 2016.
