Raed Salah

Raed Salah is the leader of the Islamic Movement in the occupied territories of 1948 and the head of the Peace Promotion Committees, an independent community initiative aimed at combating violence within Palestinian society. He has been a prominent figure in advocating for social reform and conflict resolution, successfully mediating over 1,600 cases in just one year. Recently, he was in the news due to the Israeli government's designation of the committees as a terrorist organization, which he vehemently opposes, asserting his commitment to continue efforts for peace and reconciliation despite the crackdown.
