Rafael da Câmara

Rafael da Câmara was a renowned Mozambican poet, feminist, teacher, and anthropologist born in 1974 in Inhambane. His work often addressed social issues and the complexities of daily life through a critical lens, blending personal and political themes. He published in various literary magazines and received recognition for his poetry, including an honorable mention in the TDM Literary Contest in 2012. Da Câmara was also an active member of the literary community, founding the Vilankulo Reading Club. He passed away on April 24, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of literary works, including the posthumously published collection 'Canção de Setembro para Zamuzaria Maria.'
