Rafael Prieto-Curiel

Rafael Prieto-Curiel is a mathematician and researcher affiliated with the Complexity Science Hub in Vienna, Austria. He has worked as an advisor for the World Bank and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). In 2023, he participated in a significant study on cartel recruitment in Mexico, highlighting the alarming statistics of weekly recruitments by drug cartels and advocating for a scientific approach to tackle violence in the country.
