Rafael Suberví Bonilla

Rafael 'Fello' Suberví Bonilla was a prominent Dominican politician and lawyer whose career spanned over six decades, beginning in 1961. He held various significant positions including Mayor of the National District, Deputy, and Minister of Tourism. Suberví Bonilla was also a presidential and vice-presidential candidate, demonstrating his ambition for the highest offices in the country. His early administrative role as the director of the Department of Real Estate in the National District Municipality in 1967 marked the start of his long political journey. He was actively involved in tourism initiatives, serving as the regional president of the World Tourism Organization for the Americas. Suberví Bonilla passed away at the age of 83 due to health complications, leaving behind a legacy of public service.
