Rafailović Family
The Rafailović family is a group of individuals whose land on the Zavala peninsula in Montenegro was nationalized by the government in 1958. They have been engaged in a long-standing legal battle to reclaim approximately 68,000 square meters of land, which they argue was never utilized by the state. The family, along with a group of citizens known as 'Zakoniti vlasnici poluostrva Zavala,' seeks to recover damages amounting to around 80 million euros due to the state’s actions regarding their ancestral property.
