Raffaele Fiore
Raffaele Fiore, born on May 7, 1954, in Bari, Italy, was an infamous member of the Red Brigades, a far-left militant organization. He gained notoriety for his involvement in the kidnapping and assassination of Italian politician Aldo Moro in 1978. Fiore was arrested in 1979 and sentenced to life imprisonment during the 'Moro Uno' trial. After spending years in prison, he was released on parole in 1997 and worked in a cooperative. Throughout his life, he did not express remorse for his actions. Fiore played a crucial role in the violent attack on Moro's escort, where he was one of the attackers disguised as air force personnel; however, his weapon jammed during the confrontation, preventing him from firing at Moro's car. He passed away on July 28, 2025, at the age of 71.
