Rafid is a student from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) who recently gained attention after claiming that he was physically assaulted during a protest, where he was photographed being restrained by law enforcement. He has stated that the image circulated in the media, which was purported to be generated by artificial intelligence, is in fact a real photograph of him.
