Rajendra Bir Rai

Rajendra Bir Rai is the founder and former chairman of Karnali Development Bank, which was established in 2003. He served as the CEO of the bank from 2019 to 2022 and has been involved in various leadership roles within the bank's board of directors. Recently, he was in the news after being arrested on charges of embezzling funds from the bank, which led to an ongoing investigation into the financial irregularities amounting to over 1.26 billion Nepali Rupees.
