Rakel Anna Bjarnason is a talented designer and co-founder of Loam Equipment, a company based in Bellingham, Washington, that specializes in creating custom bags and gear for cyclists. With a rich background in outdoor product design, Rakel has spent nearly two decades working for various prominent brands in the outdoor industry. She was born in France to an Icelandic father and an American mother, growing up primarily in Seattle. Her passion for cycling began in her youth, as she participated in numerous biking events and developed a keen interest in bicycle design. Together with her husband Alan Martinez, she embarked on a journey to create their own brand in 2017, focusing on unique, high-quality cycling accessories that cater to the growing demand for custom solutions in the cycling community.
