Ralph Schmidt

Ralph Schmidt, affectionately known as 'Ralphy,' was the first person to use Kitchener's supervised drug consumption site, where he has become a helper, running the drug-testing machine. His journey through addiction has been tumultuous, stemming from early trauma. Schmidt credits the site with saving his life multiple times and fears that its closure will jeopardize his well-being.
