Ram Prasad Chouhan

Ram Prasad Chouhan is a 60-year-old street vendor from Gulria, Bardiya District, who has been selling roasted corn and peanuts for over 45 years. Despite facing numerous challenges, including the recent loss of his savings amounting to 800,000 Nepali Rupees in a cooperative scam, he continues to work hard to support his family. Ram Prasad rises early each day to gather fresh corn from nearby farmers, selling it at the local market while managing the expenses of his household. He has battled health issues, including asthma, for 25 years but maintains a strong belief in hard work and resilience amidst economic difficulties.
