Ramadhan Mukira

Ramadhan Mukira is the President of the East Africa Law Society (EALS), a prominent legal organization advocating for human rights and legal reforms in the East African region. He has been vocal in addressing issues of governance and justice, emphasizing the importance of regional integration and the protection of citizens' rights within the East African Community (EAC). Recently, he has been involved in a legal case against the Tanzanian government, accusing it of violating the rights of Kenyan nationals who were denied entry to observe a trial, a move Mukira described as undermining regional cooperation.
