Ramazan Dursun

Ramazan Dursun is an individual who attempted to carry out an armed attack on a police station in Adana, Turkey, on February 23, 2024. He entered the police station with a shotgun and attempted to shoot police officers before being apprehended. Dursun had previously visited a jailed suspected ISIS member, Yusuf T., and had been found in possession of materials related to ISIS propaganda. He was charged with serious offenses, including attempting to kill police officers and undermining the unity of the state.
