Ramesh Sanyasi, 24, is a member of the Lhotshampa ethnic minority from Bhutan, who was deported from the United States back to Bhutan after being convicted of a crime. Born in a refugee camp in Nepal, he migrated to the US at the age of 10 and was working in Pennsylvania before his deportation. After being rejected by Bhutan, he currently finds himself in a refugee camp in Nepal, living without identification documents and struggling to rebuild his life.
