Ramiro Martín Mamani Llave, a 45-year-old bus driver for the company Emmanuel, was in the news following a tragic accident in Uyuni that resulted in the deaths of 35 people and injuries to 40 others. He was reported to have been driving under the influence of alcohol, with a blood alcohol level five times over the legal limit, leading to a collision with another bus. Mamani succumbed to his injuries shortly after the accident, becoming the 36th victim of the crash.
