Ramón Alaix

Ramón Alaix is an 83-year-old Spanish Jesuit who was the provincial of the Society of Jesus in Bolivia from 1999 to 2007. He has recently been accused of concealing sexual abuse committed by a fellow priest, Alfonso Pedrajas. Alaix, who appeared in court in a wheelchair, has also denied the charges, asserting that he learned about the situation only after it was reported by the media.
