Ramon Apoetiti

Ramon Apoetiti is the deputy director of the Directorate of Recreation and Sport within the Ministry of Regional Development and Sport in Suriname. He has recently been in the news due to a significant fire that destroyed the building housing his office at the Willebrod Axwijk Sports Center, which he indicated was vulnerable to such incidents. Apoetiti expressed concerns about the potential for arson, given the history of vandalism and theft on the site, and he is currently awaiting instructions from the Minister of ROS regarding the next steps following the incident.
