
Ramses IX
Ramses IX was an ancient Egyptian pharaoh of the Twentieth Dynasty, reigning from approximately 1126 to 1108 BC. He is known for his efforts to restore temples and monuments that had fallen into disrepair during the preceding tumultuous times of his dynasty. His reign saw a continuation of the architectural grandeur of the New Kingdom, and he was buried in the Valley of the Kings, where his tomb is one of many significant sites that showcase the artistry and cultural richness of ancient Egypt.
