Rania Alayed

Rania Alayed was a mother of three who tragically became a victim of domestic violence, being murdered by her husband Ahmed Al-Khatib in 2013. Originally from Syria, Rania fled the Middle East at the age of 15 after marrying Al-Khatib. Her remains were discovered in North Yorkshire, England, a decade after her death, leading to a poignant moment for her family who longed for closure.
