Raquel Castro is the founder of Lisboa Soa, an acoustic ecology festival that emphasizes the importance of listening to urban sounds and the relationship between people and their environment. Since its inception in 2016, the festival has curated performances and installations in various significant locations across Lisbon, aiming to raise awareness about the often-overlooked sounds that surround us. This year's edition, themed 'Energia em Fluxo', explores the historical narrative of segregation in the city through its chosen venues, including the Jardins do Bombarda and the Panóptico building.
