Raquel del Villar

Raquel del Villar is the secretary general of the Frente Amplio de Lucha Popular (Falpo), a community organization in Santiago Oeste, Dominican Republic. She has been actively advocating for the rights and needs of her community, particularly focusing on issues such as waste collection, infrastructure, and safety. Recently, she led protests demanding urgent government action to address critical problems, including the lack of basic services and the high risk of drowning in local canals.
