Raquel Lira, 38, is a photographer who moved from São Paulo to Indaiatuba in search of safety and a more tranquil lifestyle for her family. After experiencing the pervasive fear of urban violence, she now enjoys a more peaceful life where she can freely walk with her children, although she still grapples with the limitations of healthcare services in her new city.
