Rastislav Schmieger

Rastislav Schmieger is the co-founder of VKBS, a company specializing in automation and robotics, located in Dolný Lieskov, Slovakia. With a background in electrical engineering, Schmieger initially ventured into business with plans to manufacture fireplaces but shifted focus to robotics after winning a contract for machine production. His innovative approach to automation has positioned VKBS as a key player in the industry, collaborating with various manufacturers, including those in the automotive sector. Passionate about technology since childhood, he enjoys the challenges of designing unique robotic systems and mentoring students in new technologies.
