Ratanbai

Ratanbai, affectionately known as Rati, was a beautiful and affluent woman who made headlines for her love story with Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan. She defied her parents to marry Jinnah at the age of 18. Tragically, Ratanbai passed away at the young age of 29 on her birthday, February 20, 1929. Her life and love for Jinnah have inspired literary works, including Zef Syed's novel 'Rati,' which explores their relationship and the historical context surrounding it. Ratanbai was also a poet and often expressed her emotions through her writings.
