Rathika Sitsabaiesan

Rathika Sitsabaiesan is a Canadian politician of Sri Lankan Tamil descent, known for being the first Tamil woman elected to the Canadian Parliament. She served as the Member of Parliament for the Scarborough—Rouge River riding and has been an advocate for human rights, particularly concerning the Tamil community's struggles in Sri Lanka.
