Raúl Castells

Raúl Castells is an Argentine political activist known for his leadership of the MIJD (Movimiento Independiente de Jubilados y Desocupados), a group advocating for the rights of the unemployed and retirees. He gained prominence for his involvement in social movements and protests addressing issues of poverty and social justice in Argentina. Recently, his name was mentioned in the news due to the discovery of numerous photocopies of identification and even a sarcophagus in a property that had been occupied by his group for 12 years, as part of a governmental operation to reclaim the space.
