Raúl González Blanco, commonly known as Raúl, is a retired Spanish footballer and one of the most celebrated players in the history of Real Madrid. Born on June 27, 1977, in San Cristóbal de los Ángeles, Madrid, he spent the majority of his career at Real Madrid, where he became the club's all-time leading scorer before being surpassed by Cristiano Ronaldo. Known for his exceptional goal-scoring ability, leadership on the pitch, and sportsmanship, Raúl also had a successful international career with the Spanish national team. After retiring, he transitioned into coaching and is currently the manager of Real Madrid Castilla, the club's reserve team, where he continues to develop young talent.
