Rauma Weizman, born in London in 1925, was the wife of the seventh President of Israel, Ezer Weizman. She grew up in a prominent family involved in Israeli politics and education, later receiving agricultural training and working with children in post-war Germany. After returning to Israel, she served in the Women's Army Corps and became actively involved in volunteer work, particularly for children with hearing impairments and orphans. As First Lady from 1993 to 2000, Rauma Weizman participated in numerous charitable activities and visited injured soldiers and bereaved families. She passed away at the age of 99, leaving a legacy of compassion and public service.
