Rav Ashi

Rav Ashi was a prominent Talmudic scholar and one of the editors of the Babylonian Talmud during the Amoraic period. He is celebrated for his contributions to Jewish law and tradition, particularly in the city of Sura. His burial site, located near the Israel-Lebanon border, has become a point of interest for pilgrims, especially among followers of the Breslov Hasidic movement, who recently attempted to establish it as a permanent place of prayer.
