Ravindu Sankada Silva, also known as 'Buru Muna,' is an organized crime figure currently held in a high-security prison. He gained recent media attention following a violent altercation between him and officers from the Special Task Force, which resulted in injuries to two officers. The incident occurred when Silva was temporarily taken outside the prison for a court appearance via Skype. During this transfer, a confrontation ensued, leading to a significant disturbance. Silva's case is under examination in the Galle Magistrate's Court.
