Rayan Hamdoush

Rayan Hamdoush is the wife of Mustafa Hajj-Obeid, who has been detained in a camp for IS-linked women and children in Syria since March 2019. After her arrest, she learned she was pregnant and gave birth to a son in the al-Hawl camp. Her family has been in limbo regarding her and her child's legal status, as they seek to understand their future in light of the ongoing geopolitical situation.
