Raymond Bikinda-Walker

Raymond Bikinda-Walker was a prominent Gabonese footballer and coach, known for his role as a goalkeeper for the national team, where he earned 60 caps between 1958 and 1968. He played a pivotal role in the development of Gabonese football, serving as the long-term coach of FC 105 and leading the team to eight national championships. Bikinda-Walker was also a notable figure in Gabon's early international matches, famously facing Pelé's Santos FC in 1964. After a successful career in Gabon, he relocated to France, where he continued to coach at various levels until his recent passing at the age of 82.
