Rehema Tamimu

Rehema Tamimu is the chairperson of the Kimara Women’s Cooperative, an initiative focused on sustainable waste management in Dar es Salaam. Under her leadership, the cooperative operates on a zero-waste principle, recycling and composting organic waste to create valuable resources. Tamimu advocates for the recognition of waste collection as a respectable profession while promoting community engagement in waste management.
